About Us:
We are a French couple ( husband and wife) , mining and cutting opal in Australia, involved in the Australian opal industry for over 30 years.
We operate our own opal mines at
Opalton, 125 km South West of Winton, the World Capital of Boulder Opal, in the Queensland Outback, Australia.
You are dealing directly with the source. There is no middleman. Our prices are opal field prices.
We offer a personal and friendly service.
We mine during the Australian Autumn and winter, usually from mid - April to the end of August, when the outside temperature is mild ( temperature can
go up to 48º C (120º F ) in the shade and more than 65º C ( 154º F ) in the sun, in summer in Outback Queensland).
When we are not mining, we process our opal in our workshop at home, on the coast in Cardwell, in tropical North Queensland, and Jacky also
manages this site. All of  this keep us real busy.
We sell the 3 varieties of precious opal:
Solid  boulder opal and solid boulder opal matrix from Queensland, and solid Lightning Ridge opal from New South Wales.

Our jewelry is not mass produced in a factory, but handmade by small  jewellers who take pride in their work.
A
Certificate of Origin and Authenticity  will be supplied, free of charge, on request with every purchase.
We gladly answer every inquiry promptly, and every order is dispatched within 48 hours.

We are founding  members of the
Queensland Boulder Opal Association. Inc  and are still members since its formation in 1991.
